This Cheese and Wine shop has been a favorite stop in Banner Elk for almost 25
years. It’s still the same great place for wonderful wine,
cheese, and specialty foods – but the selection is better
than ever. In addition to some of the finest collectible
labels from California and France, Erick’s has a greatly
expanded inventory of highly rated, very affordable,
spectacular wines from around the world particularly from
Italy and Spain. Stop in and sign up for their email
newsletter that announces wine tasting and gives you notes
on the wines as well.
Or just drop by on Saturday afternoons, when there’s always
something to taste. Erick’s will special order wines you
don’t see in the shop and prepare custom gift baskets for

Banner Elk Cafe now offers a beautiful courtyard, located
directly in the middle of the new Lodge Coffee-house and
Pizzeria and coming soon new ice cream parlor. Courtyard
diners will enjoy being served fare from all 3 restaurants.
There will be live entertainment on weekends. The Banner Elk
Cafe serves a full breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. A wide
range of nightly specials sure to please any palate.

Mike’s Inland Seafood
The seafood restaurant of the
mountains is Mike’s Inland Seafood. Offering plate loads of
shrimp, flounder, perch, oysters, red snapper, and seafood
steaks of salmon, swordfish, mahi mahi and lots more. Open
for lunch and dinner (closed Monday). Located in Banner Elk.

Sorrento’s
Sorrento's World Famous Italian Bistro offers a
changing monthly menu to please the pickiest of tastes.
Their nightly specials are not to be missed. Make sure to
save room for the scrumptious gourmet desserts! Sorrento's
holds all liquor permits and has an extensive wine list for
the connoisseur and amateur. They are open daily from 11:00
a.m. to 1:00 a.m.; Thursday through Saturday open until 2:00
a.m. Be sure to check out the incredible Sunday Brunch from
